I read the article and Joshua is being typically humble about the whole thing but you need to read between the lines. 80% of Klitschko sparring partners don't want to immediately spar him again because he is usually in fighting shape while they are just entering the camp in only moderate condition so Klitschko puts a beating on them.

Whereas here we have Joshua who wants to spar Klitschko again immediately and he's put himself on standby to spar him whenever he's called. That's the sign of a confident man who knows he did well. He didn't outright say it but it sounds as if Joshua gave Wlad way more than he could handle.

Joshua needs to test himself against the great fighters Martin Rogan or Sam Sexton. If he can beat these guys, the bum Klitschko will be no problem. Both Rogan and Sexton are far better than Klitschko. Thats the reason hes not fighting them, he is ducking them.
