There's just no way you can pick Golovkin over Roy, James Toney, or Mike McCallum. Compared to what he's faced in his career those guys are on another planet.

He'd have real trouble with Toney, Froch, Martinez and possibly Roy. He could lose all of them or pull out a couple wins. Those would all be very interesting to see.

If you'll notice at the bottom of the post I picked toney to beat him

People saying how he'd do against Toney, how do you guys think James Toney would handle GGG's power.

I doubt Toney fought anyone with GGG's power at 160.

Toney would get his ass wooped have you seen that guy, his boobs are bigger than my ***ing head. GGG would woop dat ass.
Mike McCallum, who is that? I bet nobody here who that is lol. He would get his ass wooped to. GGG with another ass woopin!
Julian Jackson, hmm that's a hard one. I'd say this would be a war, could go either way.
Pazienza, who the *** is this. But he's pretty big so maybe he'd have a chance. But he'd get that ass beat regardless. Pizzazenza would get baked lololol.
Kessler, to lazy to look him up but he'd that ass beat to.
Froch would beat GGG's ass. To big, to skilled.
Chavez Jr would get his ass beat to. He's to busy smoking weed and not making weight to be a threat to GGG. Did you see him get beat by Martinez by shutout. He shouldnt be on the list.
Winky would win by decision, GGG ain't that good.
Tommy Hearns, sers bro? Tommy Hearns would cut GGG up and slice him a new one. Why is he even on here.
Jake Lamotta? lol, Lamotta would tenderize GGG. This one is obvious.
Martinez would easily beat GGG, easily.
This is getting ridiculous, Roy jones would whoop him!! And don't care about the rest.

                  REPLY TO TJONES1989

Apparently you have limited boxing knowledge with some of these comments

Toney wasn't a fat slob at 160 he was a beast and has super slick defense and great power at 160 I favor him to beat ggg

McCallum was a top 5 154-160 guy and is underrated he had murderous body work and could really box well and was very durable it would be a 50/50 fight that would prob go distance

You give Julian Jackson a shot over McCallum ? Jackson had leaky D ,ok boxing and a weak chin . He's just remembered for his great power. Ggg has better fundamentals and would likely KO Jackson

Kessler was very good in his prime and is bigger than ggg also he's never been stopped even in 2 fights with froch toss up fight with ggg but slightly favor golovkin

Froch is bigger but to skilled?gtfoh froch has success mostly through war of attrition he comes toward getting hit often and beats u down. He's probably the crudest guy on the list along with lamotta. Anyway froch has a style all wrong for ggg he gets hit to much golovkin would prob KO Froch or beat him down over 12

Toney fought Roy,nunn, and McCallum at160
Roy had very good power for the short time he was at MW
Not to mention toney handled shots from HWs like Peter,Holyfield and Rahman
I favor toney to UD ggg at MW

GGG beats all. Tough fights with Toney and Roy in particular.

Only fight would probably favour is a prime Roy.

Of course if Golovkin lands some big bombs, the slack jawed Roy might eat canvas too!
Unlikely he beats toney, hopkins, lamotta or martinez at MW
Roy destroys him and debatably beats any MW ever ..Roy was unreal at 160
