This whole promotion and weigh in was weird, I like to see Mayweather jumping around shadowboxing at the weigh ins. Maidana didn't look like he had much energy, he sat down as soon as he walked in. Of course I don't think any of it means anything, I genuinely believe that, I guess they were having a long day.
I know I am probably alone on this, but Floyd seemed kind of shook to me.
LOL. He basically did the same thing as the Canelo weigh in.
Got on the scale, did the stare down, got the belt and took some pictures. The drama of it was when Canelo pushed his hand away. Maidana took the bait and grabbed the belt and took a picture with Floyd.
I've never found a mayweather fight boring. I like exciting slugfests just as much as pure boxing excellence, sometimes both intersect, but both are individually fights that I appreciate.
If that is the case, Mayweather is a blown up 130-pound fighter. The critics all seem to forget that Mayweather started and fought the majority of his fights at 130. That especially applies when they want to criticize him for having a size advantage over his opponent, such as this case and in the case of Ricky Hatton.
