    MGM Grand, Las Vegas - According to Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya, manager Al Haymon is very open to the idea of having WBC/WBA 140-pound champion Danny Garcia (29-0, 17KOs) move up in weight to face WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2 38KOs).

    As BoxingScene.com reported earlier, De La Hoya met with Top Rank on Thursday and several potential fights were discussed.

      I'm surprised that haymon wouldn't try to angle for a Floyd-Danny fight since both undefeated champs and both inhouse..

      Al probably thinking Danny can catch manny with a counter and make him go to sleep, which would make a Floyd-Danny fight even bigger

          This is good news for me. We are edging closer towards Pac/May not getting made forever. My dreams of seeing TBDE becoming the biggest duck ever is coming to fruition.

                          I don't know who Mayweather fights next after Maidana. Khan is already committed to Brook next year.

                          Cotto vs Mayweather 2 is certainly possible.
