No. When Pacquiao slipped in the first Barrera fight, Cole called it a knockdown when it was obvious that it was a slip.

Luis Pabon is missing. No calls, bad calls... He managed it to ruin the Povetkin vs. Klitschko fight and helped Povetkin, when he faced Huck.

Stanley Christodoulou is another bad referee. Remember the Lebedev vs. Jones fight, when Lebedev had that bad swelling. He let him fight with that for the whole fight. In the round in that Lebedev was stopped he consulted a doctor because of the eye, who said he could continue. Very bad performance.

Because I come from Germany I have to mention another bad one: Manfred Küchler.
Maybe someone saw the Hammer vs. Mathis fight, where Küchler DQ'ed Mathis for illegal blows but Mathis' punches were ok. He refereed a heavyweight fight between Pektovic and Salif, where he DQ'ed Salif for multiple low blows, which landed correctly. He was suspended after the Petkovic vs. Salif fight for one year but went to another country and refereed there without having a license...

From the selection it's Laurence Cole. Amazing that in Texas you can be the referee in fights after you sold life insurances to one or both of the boxers...

well most people are wrong. weeks let garcia lowblow more than andrew golota and failed to protect matthysse after garcia clubbed him behind the head into the ropes. also a terrible job in mayweather-matthysse letting floyd hold and elbow to create space. bayless also lets people hold over and over. these guys are the perfect A-side refs that's why they have such a good reputation.

Looks like most people consider Laurence Cole to be the worst.

I would pay an extra $20 for tonights ppv if Cole was to referee the main event.

Yes, wondering why this guy wasn't on the list. I hate this guy with a passion, he sucks major donkey d1ck

Pabon is way too involved in fights and does not let fighters fight in the clinch at all. If you watch the Huck-Povetkin fight he continually broke the fighters apart as they got close to each other - he was anticipating the clinch and breaking before they got in the clinch.

This guy is so ****in incompetent it's surprising that he gets so many high profile assignments.
