I was going to highlight different parts of the fight but there are a ton of examples all throughout. At 17 min 25 sec and also 17 min 37 sec both fighters lean on each, with both hands free, and you can see and hear Bayless advising them in the moment to fight it out. He'll let you fight it out as long as your bodies are posed away from each other and both fighters are actively trying to fight. He hates illegal grabbing(something Mayweather does all the time) and action in the clinch. Anyways, Maidana needs to keep BOTH hands free- No matter what.

And if you ignore his instructions he'll punish you. Don't do that either.

Bayless isn't one of the best refs. I'm tired of hearing that. He doesn't warn for holding, he breaks inside fighting if fighters even touch bodies... That doesn't=best ref unless you like to keep distance in fights.

Uhh maidana rabbit punched tackled and kneed Floyd. It's ok tho cause it's Floyd. Take him down any way possible. Op is blaming the ref before the fight even happened

Lol I remember when Bayless was praised cause he would ref all of Pac's big fights, now I see anti-Floyd fans trying to assassinate his character cause Floyd is using him for the Maidana rematch. Bayless is by far the most complete and well rounded ref, he takes his job 100% serious in and outside the ring.

The difference between Laurence Cole in Maidana vs Broner and someone like Steve Smoger changes fights.

Someone whisper to Maidana to take 70% of his purse and buy the judges and Kenny, then laugh all the way to the bank after getting a fat payday from the 3rd fight, and leave Khan fans kicking rocks.
