I'm liking what I see from the guy. Very composed style and seems refined with lots more room for improvement which is oxymoronic no? Anyone else like the kid? I'm going to try and dig up more info on the guy.

I think he's the best prospect at junior middleweight.

Yes, better than both Charlo bros.

I like the kid a lot, very composed in the ring. He can turn up the heat but you can tell he's a thinking fighter. It also doesn't hurt that he has one of the most underrated trainers in the game, Stephen Edwards.

You think so? Why's that? Not in defense is them just as discussion

Agreed. About Stephen Edwards, I don't know much of him. Care to share info on him

His punch technique is about as good as it gets. He's an excellent counter-puncher and he can switch from offense to defense very smoothly. He also has an excellent inside game, very crafty, he knows how to use his shoulders to get levarage on short punches (just watch his last fight). His power is pretty good too.

I loved his performance against Hugo Centeno jr, who is probably better than any fighter both Charlo twins faced and an excellent mover. The fight is a no contest officially, but J-Rock has dominating him and was on his way to a stoppage.

Perfectly said. I do believe he's the more well rounded fighter compared to them. He just needs more experience but that will come

I had questions from the Alcine fight then after seeing him tonight get tagged rather easily by a less than good opponent they might want to pump the brakes on any further progression and keep him around mid-lower level for awhile to tighten things up.
