Comments Thread For: Sergio Mora Inks Managerial Pact With Al Haymon

BoxingScene.com has been informed that former WBC junior middleweight champion Sergio Mora (26-3, 9KOs) is the latest fighter to sign an agreement with powerful manager/adviser Al Haymon. Mora has been pushing for big fights with a who's who of top fighters in the middleweight division.

Haymon, who at this point likely has at least 120 fighters in his humongous stable, has been on a massive signing spree in 2014.

WTF is this? Haymon's stable of fighter will be too big to handle. Sooner or later he will start pissing fighters off.

Again how does Haymon do it? He signs and owns fighters!

You can't explain common sense things to some people, just let time pass and nature take its course. He'll have 100 fighters all wanting to make 2 million a fight and no networks willing to shell out that kind of cash for tune-ups. The bad thing is all these fighters will end up being locked into contractual strongholds and look like Ward does now.

Are the CBS/Showtime and Fox boxing budgets big enough to support a Haymon monopoly? 120 fighters, but a lot of them are guys like Mora who weren't getting any calls anyways. It could get a little harder though for other promoters to move around without bumping into a Haymon fighter.

Haymon Is Just A Pimp; How Many Guys According To Same Weight Will Fight Each Other?

He wouldn't let Peterson & Garcia fight. Still won't let them fight in December now. Wouldn't let Boner & Matthysse fight. Won't let Matthysse & Garcia rematch. Can't get Thurman & Khan together. Can't get Thurman & Guerrero together. So what's the point other than a scam. Collect as many big names as possible. Put them on the same card, but place tomato cans in front of each so they all go to the bank along with Haymon, and they live to fight another soft fight, and carpool back to the bank again. That's the plan. So it's smoke and mirrors. Throw several of these big names on a deep boxing card, put a stiff in front of each to give the illusion, they look good each night out and the possibility of a big fights is right around the corner, but never happens. He's trying to gain control of every big name in Boxing to hoard the talent, and monopolize Boxing. He's a pimp with a bunch of smiff out running tricks bringing their monies back to Daddy Haymon for his cut, then get back out on the street corner for another quickie.

We were led to believe Peterson-Garcia was in line for Dec. not happening. And you can bet despite Boner calling out Matthysse, that fight never happens either.
