Comments Thread For: Amir Khan Breaks Down Mayweather vs. Maidana 2

Marcos Maidana, 31, pushed 37-year-old Floyd Mayweather all the way in their first meeting in May with the American claiming a majority points win.

But as they prepare to square off again in Las Vegas, Maidana's former foe - Amir Khan - had some words of advice for the man he beat in 2010.

The Bolton fighter, who will be ringside in the early hours of Sunday morning, said: "I really believe speed is one of the key components in beating Floyd.

I don't think Khan is the greatest fighter out there, I don't think that Khan is the smartest fighter out there, I don't think Khan has the best chin out there, but one thing I do know is that styles makes fights, and beleve it or not I think that Khan has the speed + the ankward style to present a tough test to Floyd Mayweather, can't recall a fighter quicker than Floyd post Judah.

I just hope 1 of those 2 last names Floyd faces is Khan because I think he could make a tough fight for Floyd.

He could have summed it up much simpler. "The guy I beat kicked the ass of the guys who ducked me, now the duck will run and hold and cry to the ref for help every 30 seconds."

Floyd always fighting these slow slugger style boxers. It benefits him greatly.

Exactly all his previous 6-7 opponents were slow and flat footed, tailor made for Floyd.

Maidana is no exception, expect he's a dirty fighter.

I am willing to bet that all these posters on Khan's nuts are all Pakistanis or British Pakistanis so even if Khan was to go up in weight to fight Wladimir or Hopkins they'll all tell us that he has the style to beat those guys up.

How come his style of fast hands could NOT beat Danny Garcia or Presscott (both garbage fighters)? If his hands speed is the code to beat Floyd why couldn't he beat slower guys like Garcia and Prescott. Why did he struggle against a guy I don't even recall?

Khan is a joke like all of his fans. Thurman KO's him easily and so does Alexander so he goes to fight Josesito.

                    First off I'm American lol

The real question of this fight, believe it or not, is does the 37 yr old Mayweather possess the artillery needed to exploit the chin of Khan because if he doesn't..and the fight becomes a boxing match..things get REALLY interesting!
