I think your username says everything. Spinks would be a half-step behind Jones in speed, reflexes, and footwork. Sometimes Spinks was awkward and his footwork wasn't the best and I think that makes a big difference in a fight against Jones. Everything flowed better and was more fluid in Jones than in Spinks. Just my take.
