    IF Rios vs Thurman happened

    Who would win?

I'm not sold on Thurman, this whole ducking him business died down pretty quick and now it seems he is relatively quiet. He's called out Khan out of all people rather than someone who would actually challenge him. Im pretty certain Alexander wants him, but Thurman knows that could be his 1st loss and one in which his KO hype may come to a abrupt end as Devon as boring as he is can take a shot. He struggled against a 37yr old Zaveck so I just dont rate him like some people.

I think Rios has that sort of chin to discourage Thurmans attack and not saying that Rios is a KO artist but he sure would make Thurman respect his punches.

I know Rios was losing against Chaves but arguably the Thurman fight vs Chaves was pretty close too.

    Anyway discuss poll coming up
    38
    Thurman by KO
    65.79%
    25
    Rios by KO
    18.42%
    7
    Thurman by UD
    15.79%
    6

Thurman has called out literally everyone in the top 10 at welterweight, individually. He has responded to Alexander calling him out as well and said he would like to fight him. So you're talking out of your backside.

And since when is dominating 12 rounds against someone 'struggling'? You haven't even watched the fight have you, you're just saying things and hoping they turn out to be right.

Chaves was beating Rios at the time of the DQ.

Thurman would absolutely slaughter Rios, it wouldn't be a competitive fight. Rios is a C level fighter, he's on par with Karass who Thurman won every round against.

Actually I did watch the Zaveck fight, and Thurman got rocked in it, maybe you wont admit it because he was against a past his best down the slope fighter.

Anyway i've not seen anyone slaughter Rios, I myself thought Chaves would have stopped him but that didnt happen. So the question is who would win, not why I am scrutinising Thurman.

I actually think rios wins. Rios can hurt Thurman, only a heavyweight can hurt rios. Thurman got rocked by Karass, leaves himself way too open and his boxing skills aren't great enough to outbox rios. I love watching both guys fight, I just can't see how Thurman wins.

lol no he didn't. Can you please show me when he got rocked? Thurman battered Zaveck for 12 rounds, it was a dead easy fight, so there's nothing to 'admit' to, you're imagining things.

Like I said Rios is a C level fighter with a good chin. Thurman would box his head off and maybe stop him late. Rios wouldn't even get close to winning a round.

Rios would stop him like he stopped alvardo, he will withstand whatever Thurman throws but when rios lands something on Thurman, thurman will wilter away. Thurman been rocked in the Karass fight, the Zaveck fight and he got pushed back a lil stunned against diaz. Rios will hurt thurman and put him down.

I'm pretty sure Ortega (dropped Rios twice) and Alvarado aren't heavyweights mate. Rios was outboxed by Mike ******** Alvarado...

It baffles me that people in here mention "brandon rios" as if he is any relevant or good for that matter. He is nothing but a basic slow C level fighter.
