Why are people mad at quillin?

The fighter decides whether to sign a contract or not. Quillin has been more than complicit in his crap competition so far, why would I not blame him for this?
And yes, Leo Santa Cruz should be getting ripped, too. No Haymon excuse for him either. No Arum excuse for Pacquiao, Pac is the 2nd most powerful fighter in boxing, he can say no and insist on better fights.

If you think Santa Cruz is ducking Rigondeaux, that's your opinion but its not the same situation so there is no double standard. Quillins situation is more like Bowe tossing his belt in the trash to avoid fighting Lewis, except its Korobov hes avoiding for whatever reason. I think most people would agree Quillin looks like a clown in this situation.

People on this site hate Quillen because he's a Haymon fighter who's black and American that's equals the trifecta of hate on this board.

Again, Quillin has been happy to fight crap opposition to this point. Why wouldn't I blame him?

Couldn't agree more. Quillin did everyone a favor by giving up a title he wasn't defending in a professional manner and turning down money he didn't deserve.
In a time where everyone is looking out for themselves Quillin is a breath of fresh air with his unconditional faithfulness to his promoter, network, and advisor.
