I was thinking about inviting the 30-40 people but that is too much cars in the drive way area. Hiring a taquero is pretty dope. Didn't think of that.

This sounds corny as hell...fight party?

Boxing is so out of the mainstream..

Next Cinco De Mayo, might do a BBQ. A lot of Carne Asada, or another Hispanic meat that's hella seasoned. Modelo or Victoria on the ice chest with some michelada drinks.

            1. Invite friends
            2.Make sure it's a can't miss good action fight.. Casual fans will be bored with a Floyd-ghost, or manny-Bradley.. Make sure it's a fight like oscar-Vargas, mab-em, cotto-margs.
            3. Plenty of alcohol and food
            4. Good tv setup
            5. No damn little kids running around

Pretty much this... except with one caveat... IF the friends you invite over aren't really boxing enthusiasts and are just in it for the "event," they can almost be too rowdy and ruin the fight...It's best if you can get together a group of friends that all appreciate and enjoy boxing.

am invited over to a friends place who has the tv. bringing steelhead ale.
dressing up a take and bake pizza with left over pork shoulder roast.

added more onions, jalapeno, pineapple and mushroom.
with a pizza this thick with stuff you bake it for half the time.
then you turn on the broiler and roast it the rest of the way.
it looks quite impressive. hope she asks me to spend the night.

Yeah we do the same. Makes it more fun and everyone in the family gets to play.
