i also saw the footage and when the doctor was cutting the glove of joe he was whincing in pain and when the glove and support came of he bellowed in pain whilst the hand just flopped and it was swelled up like a mother****er

everyone was talking how he was ducking lacy etc when he pulled out of the fight last year but after what happened last weekend, only conclusion I can come to is that he realized jeff was a threat, pulled outta the fight solely to have more time to put himself through a hell of a training camp to come out on top last saturday.

Before, I really thought Lacy would beat him. Then I saw more of Joe's fights. Then last week, I said that Lacy's looping punches would hardly find its mark. And I was right. Except I thought Lacy would get lucky late in the fight and land the big one.

This was like Cassius vs Liston. Power vs speed.
