The luis resto situation was a terrible example. Dude had plaster of paris while maidana wanted to use the stock red NSAC approved gloves.
Not a terrible example at all...cheating is cheating on any level..but those blue gloves looked altered they really did,and i dont really like floyd.. i just like to enjoy boxing matches that are fought on even playing fields...thats what it should be about
When he initially put the red glove on his facial expression changed which meant they were obviously different in comparance to the blue ones which was why he passed the glove to his glove guy to inspect... but what it ultimately came down to was trust.. it was broken dude...what would you do if your girl was to cheat on you??

Anytime anyone talks about any glove situation regarding boxing they will revisit that collins/resto fight because of the magnitude and aftermath of the whole situation...its not rocket science..
The thing that were wrong with those gloves were that they looked broken into which was why they looked flimsey and wrinkled around the seems...they were wrapped in suran wrap, which is another red flag.. the red ones looked more compact then the blue ones thats for sure..
Now regarding margacheato, no one can really say how long he was using illegal wraps for it could go all the way back to the first cintron fight we dont know that, one thing is for sure and i strongly believe he used illegal wraps in his fight with cotto,and would have used them on floyd had they fought back in 06..thank god ****m richardson caught him...but there is no issue on the gloves this time and when maidana loses will you be on here still *****ing about maidana not wearing the mx gloves?? Id bet that you will

yea my mistake. I understand about the blue gloves. The NSAC deemed them not good for fighting, even though other athletic commissions have approved them before. But when they approved the red gloves and mayweather still said no, no fight then, that pissed me off.
