I aint talking about the red ones, everyone seems to always bring those gloves up to make a case for the blue ones...only gloves floyd *****ed about were the blue ones and rightfully so because those gloves were broken in and wrapped in suran wrap..glove manufacturers distribute their gloves in a hardshell plastic wraping...so obviously trust was broken which was why those red gloves werer not allowed from moneys team either...
Go to the 2 minute mark of the video. Ellerbe starts taking the red NSAC approved gloves out the pack, floyd still *****es about it. And floyds "money team", their fighters used those same exact stock red NSAC approved gloves that mayweather *****ed about.Comment

I would be very curious if Floyd would allow Cotto to fight with the same 10oz Everlast MX he already used last time -- in case Floyd would fight Cotto next Cinco de Mayo...
I can only imagine what colorful response Cotto would send him...Comment

Yeah but there was a reason for the last minute change...im pretty sure billy collins family wished they had checked resto's gloves prior to the fight too.. the sport is dangerous enough without having to cheat or alter the gloves.Comment

When he initially put the red glove on his facial expression changed which meant they were obviously different in comparance to the blue ones which was why he passed the glove to his glove guy to inspect... but what it ultimately came down to was trust.. it was broken dude...what would you do if your girl was to cheat on you??Comment

Do you have another example of who else ever changed his opponent's gloves with 24 hours prior to the actual fight? (It's about legal gloves -- approved through contract and by the ruling boxing commission... It's not about illegal gloves.)Comment

so, you thought of resto's gloves by yourself, floyd mentioning this had nothing to do, right? it's not common sense, there was nothing wrong with the gloves, maidana nor his team tried to cheat, don't you think they would've been in real troubles, like resto, lewis and margarito (the other case that floyd also mentioned) if they had tried this?Comment
