BoxingScene.com has been advised that a deal is close for a super featherweight clash between Abner Cotto (18-2, 8KOs) and Javier Fortuna (25-0-1, 18KOs). The fight is being targeted for November 1 at the UIC Paillion in Chicago, which is going to be a Showtime televised quadrupleheader. Fortuna is coming off a tough decision win over Juan Antonio Rodriguez in May, and last month Cotto won ten round split decision over Jerry Belmontes.

Well, Abner Cotto has a big size advantage over Fortuna but not sure if he's any good. Has anyone seen him fight? Could this be competitive at all or are we going to see a 3 round fight? While I like to see knockouts I hate it when you are looking forward to a fight and then it's over before it even starts.

Abner Cotto is way to soft he will get ko'd around 3rd round.
