The opponent has been finalized for Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz "The Viking" Wach (27-1, 15 KOs), who returns on the 17th of October in Dzierzoniow, Poland. Wach will face Samir Kurtagic (12-6, 8 KOs) over eight rounds. Wach has been inactive since a November 2012 decision loss to heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko. Wach took a lot of punishment in the contest and it was nearly stopped in the later rounds. Afterwards, Wach tested positive for anabolic steroids and got hit with a suspension by the governing body in Germany. Since that time, a variety of issues have kept him on the shelf.
