    D.Garcia vs top 10 at 147

How do we think D.Garcia gets on against the top 10 at 147? I've said many times, I think Danny's a very limited, basic fighter with a good chin and decent power.

    Here's how I think he'd do against the top 10 @ WW:

Pac - gets beaten up for 12 rounds.

Floyd - gets schooled and doesn't win a round.

Thurman - gets his head boxed off and possibly stopped late on.

Bradley - gets outboxed, outworked and loses wide UD.

Brook - gets outboxed and loses wide UD.

Porter - gets outworked and beaten up.

Khan - gets outboxed. It's well known that Khan underestimated Garcia the first time around. Khan with his new style under Hunter would stay disciplined, box and not get drawn into wars.

Alexander - gets outboxed and loses wide UD.

    Marquez - gets outclassed.

Maidana - evenly matched, competitive fight imo. I'd pick Maidana to outwork him, but he has a better chance of beating Maidana than anyone I've mentioned above.

So how do you lot think he gets on against these guys?

1st of all he lost to Herrera. He loses to all top ten WW's outside of Puerto Rico.

His helicopter no look hook could catch out anyone and put em to the floor. I underestimated danny he's actually a decent fighter. And a lot of pros who fought with him in the ams says he can box too so he has a chance against any of those guys.

Pac and Floyd beat his ass.

          Bradley outpoints him.

Maidana would do what Matthysse failed to do.

The rest of the fights I would need to think hard about. Garcia can certainly win them, not sure why you're acting like he would lose to so many fighters.

Too many good boxers at 147 for D.Garcia be successful there.

The only guy in the top 10 he'd have a decent chance of beating is Maidana.

I can't see how you think that. Garcia is better proven against a better level of competition than most the top 10 welterweights. He's a solid fighter with good timing, power, and versatility. He's sure as hell better than Alexander ever proved to be, he already beat Khan, too.

There's no way he loses all these fights. He's clearly proved to be better than that.

Just because he's been in with better competition than a few of them it doesn't mean he would beat them. Alexander is a solid boxer and stylistically he's all wrong for Garcia. Garcia fights at a slow pace and doesn't pressure his opponents, that's perfect for Alexander because there's no way Garcia can outbox him and he's not gonna get many opportunities to counter/time Alexander because Alexander doesn't get careless.

Who in the top 10 do you think Garcia would beat?

Danny has a chance against any of those fighters. His hardest outing are One Time, Brook and Porter.

Lol at the dude that said Herrera. My people forget what he's done before that. Ask Khan and Lucas.

I think he beats Alexander, it wouldn't look pretty but Garcia would land all the best shots all night. Kind of like Broner/Malignaggi.

I think he'd beat Porter similar to the way Brook did.

He already knocked out Khan. I'm pretty sure he would do it again.

Thurman hasn't been in with a level of competition to confidently predict anything. I'd say he's vulnerable to a smart counter puncher, which Garcia is.

Marquez is old enough where Garcia could use his size and skill to pull of a decision.
