I totally agree with you .... The NFL screwed this one up and now has opened the stage for Rice's Lawyers to bring a charge against the NFL. I'm willing to bet that RR will be back in the line-up next season.

Back on-topic: Floyd should have enough sense to know that this is a hot topic not to be touched, especially when he has a history of abusive behavior. Floyd (For his own good) needs to adopt a "NO Comment" strategy when reporters ask questions surrounding sensitive events.

I think it depends on what he does this year. If he stays out of the light, goes to anger management, and shows real remorse he may have a chance to play again next year.

The league can reinstate him but what team would actually sign him?

Criticizing the NFL for changing their suspension does not mean he is supporting ray rice. Geez. There were 2 or 3 threads up in the lounge where posters said the same thing.

He's wrong IMO about the NFL but he isn't supporting ray.He just should've STFU to avoid this.

It really can go either way. Like you said it's hard to see a team taking a chance on him right now. Things may change by next year. The video footage is so damning. Rice will be far more vilified than Vick.

I really want to know how committed the league is to fight against domestic violence. There are pending domestic violence cases for players (Ray McDonald and Greg Hardy) that will have to be addressed as well. Do those players get indefinite bans or the 6 game ban that Goodell instituted recently.
