Really? With video footage of him knocking his girl unconscious? I'd be shocked if he doesn't get convicted if he doesn't cop a plea bargain. The NFL won't keep him.

Back on-topic: Floyd should have enough sense to know that this is a hot topic not to be touched, especially when he has a history of abusive behavior. Floyd (For his own good) needs to adopt a "NO Comment" strategy when reporters ask questions surrounding sensitive events.
I think he was so desperate to grab headlines for his fight he couldn't control himself. He also is a batterer so its not hard to guess which side he'd be on.

yup. he is has gotten so much exposure this year and is everywhere so of course he is going to get asked questions. just smile and say something bland and uninteresting.

I think it depends on what he does this year. If he stays out of the light, goes to anger management, and shows real remorse he may have a chance to play again next year.

The league can reinstate him but what team would actually sign him?

He's wrong IMO about the NFL but he isn't supporting ray.He just should've STFU to avoid this.

To support or not support, that is the question.

Mike wasn't a 31 yr old running back and there was no video of him killing dogs that aired on a continuous 72 hour loop on every major TV network.

It really can go either way. Like you said it's hard to see a team taking a chance on him right now. Things may change by next year. The video footage is so damning. Rice will be far more vilified than Vick.

I really want to know how committed the league is to fight against domestic violence. There are pending domestic violence cases for players (Ray McDonald and Greg Hardy) that will have to be addressed as well. Do those players get indefinite bans or the 6 game ban that Goodell instituted recently.
