Demetrius Andrade wants to challenge for WBO MW title

WBO makes decision tomorrow whether BJS gets shot at Korobov for the vacant title Kid Chicken left behind or if Demetrius Andrade, the WBO JMW champ gets it. Andrade requested a shot at the vacant title against Korobov.

Great news! Andrade takes Korobov's soul if it happens.

That would be ******ed, he shouldn't be able to walk into middleweight and get a title shot. He's not one of those fighters that should be able to get away with that.

What's the big fights down there for him though? Canelo might might Clottey and it's straight to Miguel after that... which may be at MW. Not a lot of decent JMW's available even though he's neutral.

Also, they got the whole champ being mando thing going... so he could possibly bypass Saunders. He's also due on Ruslan's next card, so they have a date to put the fight on.

Either way, if Andrade fought either Saunders or Korobov... I'd favor him over either

This makes things very interesting if Andrade were to get a shot. Middleweight needs some depth added with Kid Custard running.

That's a good one. Korobov's a pretty good technical boxer and Andrade's not much of a puncher. It could go either way.

korobov's had trouble with the height in his last fight... I felt like he couldn't really judge his distance so well at times.

Also how many times has either guy fought a southpaw?

Korobov could win... and I see bob pushing for this fight to keep it in his sights.

His defense is garbage. No way this is 50-50. Andrade wins clearly.
