Lamottoa never ko'd Robinson....matter of fact the only time Robinson was stopped was by the heat in his attempt at the light heavyweight title

when did Ray Robinson get KO by Lamotta?

There are plenty of guys who came back from being knocked out.

Lennox Lewis is one of the guys who comes to mind, he got knocked out and than knocks the guy out int he rematch.

Robinson with 300+ fights, never stopped by an opponent!
He retired in his corner with hypothermia (14th rd) against the light heavy champ Joey Maxim while winning the bout on all score cards.
People in attendance were being treating by paramedics and two refs were used as the ringside temp hit over 105d.

Louis return against Max after Max took him to task was a huge comeback win especially when you consider the condition the world was in facing Hitler's rampage on European countries. Joe whipped Max with a brutal first round KO just as the USA came to Europe's rescue and whipped Hitler's forces! Joe Louis the best ever, USA the best ever!!!
