Man it would be great to have that fight on a big undercard. Is he still being promoted by zanfer, I know he said that he's being promoted by teinken but whenever he fights in America or Mexico it's always zanfer

HBO needs to get a clue and start showing Gonzalez and Estrada's fights and start building up for a rematch between the two. God knows they'd both tear in Shiming. And with Viloria, Segura, the winner of Ruenrong/McWilliams there's plenty of quality action fights to be made for their sparse schedule.

Realistically, I think is very hard to see payments of a million dollars for flyweights and specially considering that most likely it has to be a split close to 50/50 since Gonzales has one belt but Estrada holds two. I know some could say Roman is undefeated or that he won the first fight which was a close match but in terms of prospective sales Estrada would be the A side (regarding casual fans). I hope Gonzales position is only to negotiate because if he is not flexible most likely we would never see the dreamed rematch.

Not to mention that the stoppage in the Rodriguez Jr. fight was one of the worst stoppages I've ever seen.

Looks like we have the newest boxing diva right here. A million dollars, huh?
Looks like somebody is hesitant to fight the kingpin of 112 at his natural weight. Maybe because a possibly drained Estrada at 108 gave him all he could handle.Last edited by whoseyourdaddy; 09-10-2014, 09:10 AM.

The biggest fight at Flyweight, and possibly the biggest fight either men will have in their careers.
This is the highpoint. It doesn't get any bigger. There's not much chance Gonzalez gets a higher payday than this fight.
I can't see him getting near the million he's asking for, but you can clearly see why he wants to get paid.
