There's another potential purse bid Roc Nation could snag just to **** with Al Haymon. In fact, they should keep doing that every single time a Haymon fighter has a purse bid.

Does Roc Nation operate in Canada also?
If "Yes", then Haymon will conclude the contract before the possible purse bid...

I would bet that Al Haymon has been on the phone all weekend with Lucas Bute's promoter and management team in an attempt to make a Stevenson/Bute fight. It would be a safe fight that would draw a big crowd (because of Bute) and would give Stevenson some much needed credibility after f....k.....g up his career with ****** decisions in the last six months.

Lucian Bute is mentally shot. Badly shot.

But as shot and chinny as he is, Bute still represents a real danger for Stevenson -- because Adonis showed a tendency to get floored by big punches.

Like others have said, they're not losing any money if the fights never happen. The bid is for money they will pay if the fight happens. The fight doesn't happen, that money is never used.

This or Kessler would be fights fun to watch. Even with how strong Stevenson is I think Ward would pretty easily take that left hook away from his arsenal.
