If Broner beats Matthysse that would put Broner as the #1 contender in the WBC rankings if/only if Danny Garcia fights and beats Postol next.

So they want it on PPV. Translation: the fight is off.

This is the unfortunate hazard of overpaying these clowns for fighting inferior opponents. When it's time for them to face named fighters, they want unbelievable amounts of money.

He seems like a nice guy. That's not a PPV Fight though.

If they had taken Matthysee and Broner and had them wait one week and face each other on the Mayweather undercard, that card would have sold much more. Like they did with the Garcia vs Matthysee fight under the Mayweather vs Canelo card.

I don't like Broner but I have to respect him for calling for a fight with the most dangerous 140 pounder in the world. I think Broner is going to suffer a KO loss that will be hard to come back from. If Broner wins then he really is as good as he claims to be.

Well said. I don't like him either but dam does this guy ask for trouble. I've came to the conclusion that he at least calls out the fights so that gives us a slight bit of excitement of the fight actually happening. Unlike the typical "I leave that up to Haymon" crap. Got beat down and wanted an immediate rematch. He earns at least a shred of respect.
