this is a good match up in terms of the lower rungs of the ladder which is where he should be however, still risky and why? the chin....thats why.

He was considered the best along with Bradley at 140. He beat Paulie, Maidana, and Judah 3 of 4 fights. He lost controversially to Peterson right after the Judah fight.
Maybe he wasn't elite but was definitely on his way before the Garcia fight. Guy is pretty good with a weak chin. He always puts on exciting fights. He's actually good for this sport.

Khan doesn't want to fight a real contender... Too much of a threat. Knowing Khan's chin, I pick Josesito Lopez in an upset. Let's be real here for a second. Amir Khan hasn't been relevant for a while, and I never thought he was anything special even when he was 'on top'. Won a razor sharp decision over Maidana and beat an old Judah, and what else?

He can't compete against the top fighters in his division.

Im surprised by the amount of people underestimating lopez's ability then suggesting guerrero... this is a guy who took punches from ortiz and broke his jaw , or did he suck that bad in his last fight...with khans chin, and josesito's constant pressure dont see this being an easy fight for khan to win at all....the only improvement with khan is hes a good clicher now which is a good strategy if the reffing is done poorly....or biasly..

Even before Danny, he got KTFO by Prescott back when Prescott was looking like an animal, so we should've known. Guy has terrible defense. Yeah, khan's a good fjghter but he has major flaw that only gets worse , chin....the predictability has improved i guess but prolly due to his clinching ..but what if the refs allows them enough time to fight on the inside instead of interfering every time, what then go back to his old self of brazing himself while getting pummeld then running around only to lose balance...still yet to see other games from khan to count out lopez...

To be fair i did not see lopez's last fight, did he suck that bad?...

If Khan fights Lopez, Mayweather must not fight Khan in 2015! You can't follow up Collazo with Lopez, and get a titlle shot. Khan needsa fight @ 147, against Thurman, Danny Garcia, or Lamont Peterson. Even Guerrero or Alexander would be better than Josesito Lopez.

Khan should be able to get a clear win , but as always there's the danger that he gets ktfo.

Seems like it would be pretty bad for Khan's career if he gets sparked by Josecito.

I gotta' say that Lopez has put together a pretty nice career out of seizing an opportunity (stopping Ortiz). Considering that he does it through sheer heart more than anything else, he has put some rounds in with some names. Hope has has put some money away while the sun has been shining.
