They're both from countries that work hard for a crappy living, so I could see Mexicans embracing him

Crazy to think about it, but Morales is the only fighter to ever beat Pacquiao convincingly over 12 rounds.

Good for GGG to be around Morales.

GGG would be embraced by Mexican fans as much as Pacquiao has been.

Because Mexicans do embrace Manny Pacquiao, support him and love to watch his fights.

His fight with Bradley this year had higher ratings in Mexico than both Canelo fights and Chavez vs Vera fight.
An estimated 22 million house holds watched Pacquiao this year. I think that qualifies as Mexicans embracing Pacquiao.

In the "Libra X Libra" Marquez documentary it's evident how well received Manny is in Mexico. In fact one of the members of Marquez's camp said something along the lines of, "He beat so many Mexican's we said screw it, let me get behind him and see what it's about." Truth of the matter is Mexican fans love action packed fights regardless of where the fighter is from. It's only in the forums or online comments that people become some type of nationalistic dimwits and begin bashing each other.
