The bold is so true lol. Every time there is a Marquez article its either who isn't going to fight, or who he wants to fight and every condition in the world has to be on his terms or he's not interested.

I enjoyed Marquez last fight against Alverado, where as Pacquiao's last fight was boring as hell.

I liked Pacquiao-Bradley II more than Marquez-Alvarado.

Yes, JMM had a good chance to get the elusive 5th title against Porter. Porter fought Julio Diaz, Alexander and Malignaggi between Sept 2013 and April 2014 and that is when JMM could have fought for the belt (age is also a major factor as it only gets worse with time). Juan is very small for the WW division and against Brook is even more notorious.

Marquez, a former four division world champion, wants to capture a fifth divisional title at 147-pounds but the pickings are slim. Marquez and Nacho are not interested in facing Manny Pacquiao for a fifth time. The Filipino boxer owns the WBO crown. And Floyd Mayweather Jr., who easily dominated Marquez in 2009, holds the WBC/WBA world titles. That only leaves Brook, with a new IBF title around his waist.

Yup! I'm so happy that's the case too cuz he just doesn't want to fight Pacquiao again but that's the only belt he's gonna be able to get. WBC and WBA is out the question. And the IBF belt is in England.

this is what I can't understand if you know for sure you can beat the guy for the biggest payday of your life and for the fifth weight division title why don't you do it. Are you doubting yourself? A fight right away after the fourth fight with pac would have been the second biggest fight in boxing and would have gotten marquez his biggest payday ever but instead he fights bradley and get embarrassed. Now you want to cherry pick and fight for a fraction of what you could have gotten. Marquez can play that I beat pac card if he wants but soon after boxing it will never make him this kind of money.
