I don't know. I think he's the best prospect in boxing, and I can't wait until he takes his first big step up fight. If he is as good as I think he is, he's going to have a lot of haters.
Does Errol Spence have a chance to be a Beloved fighter

IT will never be another Beloved Fighter...EVER! Too many HATEFUL Boxing Fans now. These NEW Boxing spend most of their time just COMPLAINING about every little thing in boxing and this is why the sport has declined SO MUCH because Boxing as a Sport doesn't have Loyal Fans of the Sports...BOXERS have Loyal FansComment

Sad but obviously true on this board. I don't say that all the usres or the vast majority of them but not just a few...
Look, if someone wants to hate May or Broner than not hard to find normal reasons to do it (personally I don't hate them but I don't like them) but if you look at all the bullshits why they're hating on Ward, Bradley or Porter you will find out quickly what's the standard. Hell, they can't hate Ward because his level opponents and he isn't a flashy guy and he hasn't got big scandals outside the ring hence they have to found out new reasons, now they hate him because he fights in Oakland and because he has LAWSUIT. Got it? Lawsuit and fighting in his hometown. Both of them are in the seven deadly sins.
And Porter: Now the hate stoped because he lost and some people now satisfied with that. He got hate because some people found out that he was on PEDs. Evidence? Serious hunch? C'mon... Don't need nothing from it.
Bradley gets the hate because he won on the scorecards the firs Pac fight and after that he didn't say sadly while he cried heavily that the evil judges gave him the fight but he's sorry and Pac obviously won it. I guess heshould give the belt back to him.
So on this board I think the black American fighters get hate whatever what they've done. Except the legendary fighters from the historybooks, but if they would fighting in these days they would get hate as well whatever what they do. If they become successfull enough, the hte will come. The sam will happen with Erroll Spence.
The only exception I can say is Crawford, he gets just a very little hate here I guess he isn't relevant and succesfull enough yet to get more, but he will.
The one thing what I don't understand: What kind of lame ass racist hater starts to watch and follow boxing? A sport where most of the time, black Americans dominated. It's kind of loser and/ormasochistic behaviour.
Ps: I'm not black and I'm not from the states before someone comes with "You're biased doe" comments.Last edited by HEND; 09-08-2014, 03:48 AM.Comment

He has a chance ofcourse. Especially if his story will be known thru 24/7 or whatever. He better develop his character now.Comment

He's alright but its too early to say anything else, once he moves up and in with the bigger boys wells see how he fares,
I'd expect to see him take on the likes of Collazo in his 20th fight as he's coming upto his 14th one now.Comment

He's black, with Haymon and even though he might have given Floyd a black eye he's fully on Floyd's side. So no...never be loved by a certain sect of users on this board.Comment
