Does Broner have enough power to hurt Matthysse at 140? [Poll]

Even if he does, it won't go that far. Matthysse would do exactly what Taylor did. Walk Broner down and slam him on the ropes. That's where Broner ends.

Like I've mentioned in another thread, Taylor did very well. It was the right game plan. The only thing that was lacking was power and stamina. Seems anyone can do that with Broner. Maidana showed the way (again stamina was the issue with Chino when he wasn't able to finish the job.)

I wouldn't be surprised if Haymon/Broner decide to stop this fight from happening.

Broner got pop but I think Mathysse has a good chance of winning that match up because Broner does not move enough...he gets hit too easily.

Broner LOOKS powerful but he hasn't had a KO at higher classes.

I think his power seems good, solid, but nothing great.

I'm with you brother, but the result so far is surprising. The War Machine was down twice against Molina, so I'm guessing people think Broner could do the same?

If he did, he would have KO'd Taylor in the first half of the fight. He caught ET multiple times, but nothing serious. The KD was the result of the exchange. AB doesn't trade. He waits... and that would put him in trouble with guys like Matthysse.
