    The knock down saved Broner.

Once again Broner fails to impress me.

Broner won but it was close, mainly due to Taylor lacking experience/skill/stamina/power.
no i was saying in person taylor looked like he might of edged him if not for knockdown even with but when i got home watched it i scored it for broner

In all fairness, Taylor would have had to win that fight by 3-4 rounds to get the nod, imo. It was Broner's fight to win before the bell rung.

With that being said, the only thing I was impressed with was Broner's toughness and composure. Nothing else was impressive, even his power was mediocre for all the "bombs" he landed.

He was in tough with a guy who will be nothing more than a career journeyman.

Broner would struggle against any of the top 140 guys (lucky for him there's not that many good ones.)

And if he decides to take his talents to the WW division, he's a dead man.

I honestly don't see GBP or Haymon allowing Broner to fight Matthyse. Bronner hasn't looked impressive since he was at 135.

I had it 6-6, and Taylor had the winning of the 12th until the knockdown. Could see 7-5 Broner, anything more a little generous to him imo.

Given the overall context, I think that 116-111 was a credible scorecard...

I was there too and and scored it 9-3 Taylor with a 10-8 12th for AB. I was riding for broner of course being the hometown hero, but live it looked like Taylor washed him. He just wasn't active enough and taylor landed everything. Like by at least 3-1. The kd saved broner in terms of the performance in the arena because.folks would've turned on him if he didn't get that.

I'll watch the broadcast when I can, but being there live, this fight really wasn't even close. Taylor walked away with it imo because broner just didn't do enough.

When watching Broner on TV, one may clearly hear him shouting with each punch he throws -- just like Sharapova does.
