yes he knocked him in between the ropes by clubbing him in the back of the head are you blind? when matthysse was tangled in the ropes defenseless obviously the ref should have stopped the action since he got there because of a foul but he let garcia keep punching and matthysse dropped since that was his only way of protecting himself. no one would call that a legit knockdown.

he actually had a great night(from haymon and co perspective) he was just in there to protect danny and let him do whatever he wanted. a non biased ref would have penalized garcia for all his low blows, holding, and wouldn't let matthysse fly face first into the ropes defenseless. with all that sh-it garcia barely beat a one eyed matthysse lol.

well all refs/judges/doctors are paid by the promoters and managers, so he wasn't paid off figuratively, but literally lol, he wants to keep getting fights to ref so of course he's gonna favor the a-side fighter

but as far as protecting danny because of haymon? nah, he didn't do that with Floyd/Maidana, that's why he didn't get the job for this fight

After suffering his first non controversial defeat last sept lucas has been through a very tough fight with molina where he got smacked around and floored twice by an espn c level fighter. Now he has just recently won a controversial bout against some bum (thank you ref!) and actually has the audacity to call swift a chicken if he refuses to accept his challenge. Seeing how Broner has now called lucas out by his logic if he refuses to accept hes a chicken, and before you f@gboys start crying he wants a belt swift will prob be vacating the titles so there shouldnt be any excuses.

Lucas is not the kind of fighter that will duck opponents. He will face anyone that's put in front of him.

I honestly don;t see the Lucas-Broner fight getting made...the Danny-Lucas rematch will never happen as long as Al Haymon is advising Danny (I think that is good advice..but sucks for fans).
