Don't wait for the ref to count to nine next time...he shouldn't have lost his belt that way but it was going to happen anyway sooner or later. He kinda helped that fk up too. Everyone blaming the ref but the ref can't see how many seconds are left like we can at home. I'm sure they'll rematch this shhh sometime down the line.

What a robbery to us fans I felt like that fight was about to get good. Even Matthysse said that Ortiz got up before 10 and should've been allowed to continue to fight.On a side note I can't stand that idiot Felix de Jesús that dude can't translate Spanish for ****. And F@ck Benjy use to like this ref to.

I agree 100% on the Felix thing. For a person who is fluent in Spanish and English, it's torture to hear him translate.

Get It Straight; Ortiz Came Out Slow, Tentative, Hands High, Matthysse Took It To Him

After the first round I thought, Ortiz was yet another media puffed up darling, and this guy was not going to last. Matthysse weighed 158 at fight time and still looked smaller than Ortiz, but his punching power was ferocious. Another ****** Ortiz... Must be in the name, says he milked the count to 9; one second won't matter... Get up at 8 then if you're okay; why hold out until the last second and leave it up to the referee to decide???? Unless those brutal body shots Lucas was beating you down with, hurt like hell and that was the exit strategy and Matthysse dug a nasty liver shot in on you, just like the shot Bhop stopped Oscar with. The look on Ortiz face when he took that liver shot was PRICELESS; he didn't milk the count... He didn't want to continue!

And for the clown who called Matthysse a bum, LOL... Nobody will be rushing in to fight Lucas anytime soon. Not Garcia, not Boner, not Amir Khan... Matthysse was on a mission tonight; looked the best he's ever looked.
