Comments Thread For: Mayweather Not Concerned With Judges, Referee For 9/13

Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs) is viewed by many as being unbeatable in Las Vegas - if a fight goes to the scorecards. But recently, Mayweather has actually complained about the scorecards in his last two fights and the officiating in the ring.

Last September's win over Saul "Canelo" Alvarez was basically a one-sided fight, but one judge somehow scored the fight a draw 114-114. The judge in question, CJ Ross, is not longer working as an official. This past May, there seemed be no doubt about Mayweather winning a decision over Marcos Maidana, but yet again there was a judge who scored it a draw - 114-114.

Floyd is a coward. He ducked margarito and floyd fought old sharmba mitchell instead. His reason behind that fight, "No welterweight will fight me." Bull**** cuz margarito called him out to his face. Margarito was the wbo welterweight champ since 2002. He fought sharmba mitchell in November of 2005. Now before floydiots say margarito is a cheat, we all know he was, these are the names of some of the fighters hes fought before his cheating was known: miguel cotto, paul williams, frankie randall, sergio martinez, kermit cintron and joshua clottey. Whats mayweathers excuse? Why didnt floyd fight cotto at 147 lbs in 2007-2008? Oh thats right floyd retired after his ricky hatton fight. "But cottos dad said he was to green". Correction, it was floyd who said it and thats why he fought henry bruseles instead in 2005. Mayweather says he wants his opponents at their best. So when he finally fought cotto in 2012, he said that cotto to him is undefeated cuz margarito cheated and pacquiao weight drained him 2 lbs. Then he goes and makes jmm, a career 135 lb fighter, jump up two weight classes AND he cheated him on the scales while laughing about it. He then makes canelo, who barely makes 154, fight at a catchweight 152 lbs . Hypocrisy much?

Didn't fight them for the same reason he didn't fight any Top Rank fighter then or now.

Oh you mean, "I dont work with bob arum." That was after his two failed negotiations with arum in 2009-2010.

No, I don't mean that. Calm down.

Anyway, Arum said that Mayweather agreed to fight Margarito but wanted higher guarantees for his fights against Cotto, Hatton and Oscar. Arum said it wasn't possible so Mayweather left.

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

You won a virtual draw by 4-5 points on 2-cards in the 1st fight, NO **** you're not worried about the judges!

Not to mention, this is like a glorified sparring bout that is taken place literally in Floyd's back yard. LITERALLY. This has "job" written all over it.
