After dropping a controversial split decision to Ivan Najera -- just the second defeat in a 15-bout pro career, the 29-year-old prospect saw an opportunity to raise his profile just slip through his hands.

    However, an old acquaintance later approached Martyniouk with the type of employment offer that alleviated the sting from the loss.

      Excellent choice actually. Near physical clone of Algieri and likes to fight outside, BUT his movement and stamina not nearly as good as Algieri's.

                    Stan is a perfect sparring partner for Pac. He beat Terrence Crawford in the amateurs but was robbed. I thought he edged out his last fight. A lot of swing rounds, those usually go to the aggressor so..
