"He will be on plane ready to take the fight"...funny, Pac was ready to take the test, take less money, and take the fight after he got KO'd.

Jones Jr got KTFO at 35, Chavez Sr. got beat to a pulp at 32, DLH haters say a 33 year old Whitaker who was top 5 P4P at the time of the loss, was past prime when DLH fought him, and so on.

He doesn't manage his career very carefully, he manages his career like any other fighter would manage their careers, or had their careers managed. Floyd fought the best fighters available and just because he refuses to fight TR fighter doesn't mean he "Ducked the best". The guys he fought, when he fought them, were the best in the division he was campaigning in or around his weight class, that were easy fights to make.
I agree with you in part, but I do believe his value as a PPV attraction would sink like a rock. He would be just like Manny is after the KO by Marquez. Even Cotto vs. Martinez did poorly. The "O" is the only thing that separates Mayweather from Pacquiao, Cotto and B-Hop.

Well About half of the people that actually buy his ppv's pay to see him lose, thats no secret there. But i dont think his status of being a ppv attraction will sink because people will pay to see him lose again. But i believe floyd retires undefeated cuz he is the best fighter of this era, and he will beat pac imo.. it will be the toughest fight of his career but he will pull through to win a SD.

Fact still remains...Bob Arum is right about Floyd. Floyd is a scared little coward. Here are some facts for you ******...
Manny is fighting a Champion that just took someones belt.
Floyd is fighting Someone who he is making him wear pillows, different shoes, after already beating him. All along his fans and boxing fans wanted Floyds coward ass to fight Khan who was picked in a poll Floyd made for the fans.
I'm not trying to derail the thread but Different shoes now??? Do you have a link?

I really am not 100% on that. Someone made a post saying thread saying that. Cant remember if they provided a link or not or if it was bullshlt. But i do know now that the gloves are not only padded but now 10oz instead of 8oz padded.

I think fighting Manny is a no-win situation. If he wins, everyone will point to the KO by Marquez, if he loses, then all wins are meaningless because everyone already thinks he's a cherry-picker. After Maidana, Floyd should target Khan, Cotto/Canelo and GGG for the grand finale!

Well I guess we'll just agree to disagree.

I will add though, if he were to lose at this stage in his career, it would of course be a big deal, but I wouldn't go crazy over it. Losses happen.

                  Interesting.

So surely you have a link on that than?

it is just like i said in this thread already, beating pac now will never be enough. there will always be excuses from pacs fans that is just the way it is... and that doesnt seem like a bad idea to face the guys you mentioned.. even if he were to beat GGG hypothetically speaking, i still dont think that would be enough for his biggest critics to give credit where its due.

I think if he fights GGG, win, lose or draw, it would silence his critics. You can't say a guy (Floyd) was scared to lose his "O" if he fought Cotto @ 154, Canelo @ 152, and GGG @ 154.
