You can clearly see it snap Byrd's head back.

The thing is its a bad picture. I have the fight in fair/poor condition and I see the same thing. When you look at it in the replay from the side its much more clear, the jabs back him up but he does land the right on top of the head. But those were hard jabs, Wlad was punching downward as Byrd ducked low and all his weight went into those jabs
