It's strange to me how people are thinking he won't fight Matthysse and think he is using his name to boost his own, like the average person even knows who Matthysse is.

obviously Broner is the fighter who brings more money to the table than himself.

Broner is more well known and that is why Matthysse is hoping to fight him, for the money and name recognition.

And that is obviously why they are fighting on the same card.

Why is it when a person doesn't like a fighter they have to lie or twist the truth around. Yes, he lost to maidana, but he's still the youngest 3x world champ ever. Even when he lost to maidana, he immediately exercised His rematch clause. Close fights vs ponce and paulie, but they're good fighters themselves, no Shame in that. Point is, one thing we know about broner is that he's not scared and would deft fight matthysse, he's proven that by taking that beating and asking for a rematch the next day
