Yeah, he is too arrogant and narcissistic to learn. Even when you look at the letter he wrote in prison, it was ''why me'' instead of ''I did x y and z to get here''.

Learning is a humbling experience; you have to admit there are things you don't know, you have to admit others know more than you and you have to be willing to let them teach you. For someone that sees himself, subjecting himself to someone's else's teaching is just not going to happen, nor is the admission of his own faults.
