How many people ever heard of Matt Korobov? Of those people, how many of you were really impressed by what you saw? Of those people, how many of you believe that he is a legit top 10 fighter in the division. Finally, of the remaining 4 or 5 people, how many of you think that he will be the face of boxing?

If I was to pose these same questions about Quillen, I sure the answers would be more favorable towards him. Therefore, him dumping his title should not be considered a duck. If he had a fight lined up with a Cotto or a GGG for his title and then he dumped his title, then I would considered it a duck, but not fighting this guy, does not constitute a duck.

It's a $1.4m payday he's forgoing to presumably fight Danny Jacobs. You really are a sucker if you think that Quillin-Jacobs is a big fight. he wouldn't get half of that.

The biggest crime is that this clearly isn't Quillin's decision Haymon ROYALLY ****ed him over because he's shook that Roc Nation Sports is coming. That's why the Wilder-Stiverne purse bid is getting pushed back as well.

I am shocked by the fact that I agree with something said by a Top Rank spokesman, but I do agree with him. It is idiotic to give up the biggest purse you have ever seen or likely ever will see when you have nothing solid on the horizon. Stephen Espinoza is a real twat, but I don't think there is any way in hell he is going to pay Quillin $1.4 million to fight Jacobs, regardless of how much influence Haymon has. Quillin is the second biggest fool in boxing -- behind Adonis Stevenson, both of whom are being steered by Haymon.

Quillin is a disgrace to all of boxing and I hope nobody ever tunes in to another one of his fights.

The only plausible explanation is a Cotto fight being lined up.

If he goes on to fight against a big name next...or if he gets $1.4 million or more for his next fight...then he can still save face.

But if not then he will deserve all the crap that people are talking about him.

I wonder if he singed the fight contract following the purse bid. He only had X amount of days to do so and just announced he dropped his title?

Jay Z should look into suing Quillin or Al for Sabotaging his deal.

Not even close to possible. All signs pointing to Jacobs

B*tching and moaning from NSB, as usual. C'mon now, who was actually on their heads to see this fight anyway?

On the other hand, who cares about Roc Nation? Quillin was about to make less, had this Roc Nation crap not happened.

Anyway, I actually wanna see a Jacobs fight, in December, which I'm sure will take place. They can pack the Barclay's and both guys are Haymon's fighters, so he (Haymon), stands to gain more for that fight.

By the way, Quillin's wife just had a baby, not even two weeks ago, so I'm not even sure he's back in the gym like that.

I saw Korobov fight on HBO a few months ago, and needless to say, I wasn't impressed.

Since when did some of yall start caring about belts anyway??? That's news to me.

People really need to ask themselves, of the two fights, which one would they rather see...Quillin/Korobov or Quillin/Jacobs?
