Cameron Dunkin, Sampson Lewkowicz, Pat Lynch, and countless other do this so if we don't vilify them, why jump on Haymon.

I don't begrudge anyone that dislike Al, nor do i believe everything I read about the negative press Al gets in the press. Is Al a saint..nope, no one is but to hate on a adviser who doing his job for his client is ridiculous. Again the fans satisfaction should mean nothing to him, his client financial and popularity growth should be all that matters to him.

However and this is a BIG however, when he is hurting his client bottom line and potential brand name....that is unacceptable. I have defended Haymon on countless thing because in my eyes he's doing his job for his client...neither I nor you are his client so why take it personally. But this action just because he doesn't like Hov at the expense of his young champion career is disgusting.

In this situation Haymon doesn't lose out because he's rich, Hov doesn't lose out because he's rich but Kid Chocolate loses his title and his highest payday.

      Crazy.
Just to open your eyes my friend, Haymon is both, an Adviser and a "Promoter", He's officialy and publicly recognized as an Adviser but he promotes via 3rd person management, and expect the big announcement before the end of the year "Haymon Boxing" will enter strong on the boxing, media, TV network and marketing business, there's already a website, but it's locked right now with the legend "coming soon"

Once he officially becomes a "Promoter"...then Al will have a serious problem.

I'm assuming he is doing this, if not he is the biggest idiot in the whole world...
Remember this very good, if you want to bookmark it "1.4 million", remember that number, and if God's willing 5 years from now, check Quillin next fights to see if he gets another 1.4 million, I already said it, he's under Haymon contract, so if Haymon says no, Quillin won't fight, simple as that.

Haymon will get him a lot of money but i almost guarantee you, not 1.4 million

Showtime bid for the fight so Haymon must have intended initially intended Quacklin to face Korobov, something has happened between,as an educated guess it must have something to do with ROC,a personal feud with Jay-Z maybe ?

If so, that means he let his ego get in the way of his fighters best interests

I thought he had a good shot at beating Korobov, who is ok but not someone to avoid. Lot of money to pass up, hope he has something promised because this makes no sense.

Forgot to mention something, remember this too, coming another announcement. Garcia won't fight Postol he'll vacate, the same as Quillin here, and he will fight a low ranked guy on his welter debut.
