Just simply using the ear test (everything we heard so far), you can tell who is doing more to prevent the fight from happening. Am never one to call a fighter scared 'cos they put their lives on the line every time they step in the ring, but in this case, Floyd Joy Mayweather is scared of fighting Manny Pacquaio. It's just that simple. He just don't want it with Manny. Floyd had to be in awe of Manny's performances to conclude that no human being can be this good without being on something. And when you look at Pac-Cotto fight, I will be scared too. Manny represents a combo of everything that has troubled Floyd in his tough fights to-date. I wrote a post on here a while ago breaking down the attributes of each fighter, which in summary, Manny would have equaled or outgunned Floyd in just about every category such as speed, power, stamina, heart, mental fortitude etc with the exception of defense being the only clear cut attribute for Floyd. Never, at least at welterweight has Floyd fought someone who outguns him in all these categories. Trust me folks, Floyd might be unable to read but one thing he is is "ring smart" He clearly understand the danger especially to his undefeated record. So all this posturing about blood test, purse split, Arum, sign with TMT is just what it is, "posturing". If u 've followed boxing, you would know it is nothing new, it's just never been done consistently to this extent. One thing proven in boxing so far and u can go down memory lane from Lenard Hearns, Delahoya Trinidad, Holyfield Tyson etc.. is that when the biggest fights are made, provided both fighters truly want the fight, the economics always work itself out never mind the monies in potential rematches. Floyd somewhat blew his chance to beat the aggressive Manny 'cos he can hope to counter him like Marquez did and folks, Marquez was the one with that win. Stop trying to give Floyd credit for a win that Marquez earned just because he is also a counter puncher. By the way, Marquez and Floyd are not the same fighter, Marquez is an offensive fighter who just happens to counter punch as well. Floyd is a defensive fighter who relies on his counter punching skills. With all of that said, I think this new cautious but still somewhat aggressive Manny might be a more tough out for Floyd especially with Floyd's legs not being active as they one were. The opportunity to counter will be few and far in between Manny's rhythm, the straight left and that awkward right cross/jab might be a problem for Floyd. I still hope to see the fight but if it doesn't happen, I won't lost sleep over it.
If your girl says I want to marry you. Next day you get down on 1 knee, and ask her. She says, no. you ask her a couple years later after her saying for 2 years she wants to marry you, then you ask again she says no, again.
Do you think she was being honest when she said I want to marry you?

Makes absolutely no sense. When you focus solely on Floyd's perspective, of course, it's going to be pretty hard for you to take any other perspective into consideration. It's called "being objective", and you my friend are not.
When you feel like there might be too much pressure or distraction in so your so called proposal analogy, and you now take your proposal in confidence where you have a small member of your family (Top Rank, Koncz etc..) and she also comes in with some members of her family (Haymon, Ellerbe etc..) and you have a chaplin or a counselor (HBO) mediate that process and after all was said and done, she still feels indifferent about something about the proposal and consequently the communication broke down. Shortly thereafter, your girl comes out in public and said no such gathering or discussion ever took place but yet the Chaplin/Counselor confirmed there were definitely some discussions regarding the proposal that took place. Is your girl believable then?
Look we can spin this anyhow all day long, at the end of the day, a sane mind would try to analyze what they 've heard from both camps so far and your boy is doing more to prevent the fight from happening

And yes there was a mediator, who came out after and said Top Rank was lying. That actually happened.

If Floyd had refused twice-you wouldn't advocate using some ******ed ****ing ear test.

It would be nice to be educated about the topic of discussion before interjecting with a blind rebuttal. You just need to stay up on the Floyd-Manny saga. Obviously you haven't else you will know this actually happened. Here is link for you. Good reading

We call it COUNTER in my line of work, not FACTS or REFUSAL. Where there is something called negotiation, it can't be take, take, take, it has to be a give and take.
If this was any other fight we are discussing or if Floyd had refused twice you wouldn't suggest using some ear test and you know it.
I agree it has to be give and take, that what the 1st negotiation was. In your line of work there is also a point where if your offers have been rejected, you look elsewhere, right?
