I finished downloading the fight like a half hour ago and I'm up to the third round and WOW, Calzaghe is fighting a perfect fight. Why the hell hasn't he fought in the US yet.

Because he has no market value in the United States. He can make so much more money by fighting in England. Why does everything ahve to be about the United States anyway? It's a global sport.

If he continues to fight that way he would have no problem being marketed in the US. I agree, it is a global sport but the US is the mecca of boxing, i was just wondering why he hasn't b/c I haven't heard of him until he was fighting Lacy and I like him.

Besides Jeff Lacy, nobody gives a **** about 168 pounders (it is a bs division really) so I don't think he'll have any fame here. At best, its opponent status for a Tarver or a Jones
