    MGM seating

    Hey all,

I'm thinking of buying tickets for the Mayweather Maidana fight. I'm looking on stubhub at the lower level 20-24 and 1-6 area. These tickets are significantly cheaper than on the sides like 11 and 13. My only question is whether I will be able to see the fight from these sections without binoculars? I don't want to pay all that money and still not be able to see the fight. I can imagine that 11 and 13 are much better because the floor section is significantly smaller on these sides, but I don't want to pay 4500 per ticket if I can avoid it. I don't know if anyone has been to a fight at the MGM, but if you have, I would appreciate any help you can give me. I just don't want to have to use binoculars.

lol. Trust me. You will not need binoculars.
I had similar seats for Hatton-Pac, and i was surprised how close i was. in fact, when you are are lower down, even though you are closer, the ring post and ref and maybe cameramen can get in the way. So ever since that fight, i always get the cheaper seats higher up because you actually get a better view.

All the views in the MGM are great. Its small.

If i went again, id get the cheap seats right at the back.

Yeh man. Every seat at the MGM grand is good. But for better information, contact the users HanzGruber or Rip Chudd... They are very experienced with nosebleeds and those types of seats.

      Good luck man!

son those seats are great, no binoculars needed.

TIP-wait until you get there to buy, not online. There are always seats available and the prices come way down.

Thanks! So would you recommend the upper 100s over the lower level 20-24?

I also have a question. I got 2 of the $600 range tickets as a gift for my birthday and was curious on how close they were?

The only other fight I've been too at the MGM was De La Hoya-Mayorga, so it's been awhile.

Well...being close to the ring is kinda special. I remember being able to look into the eyes of the fighters and that is something you cant get from even close ups on the tv. There is something special about it.

I was in L15, near the front.

This was what i could see.

So, even though i now prefer seats higher up, that first time at the MGM was amazing.
So its up to you, either way you wont be disappointed.

I thought about doing that but I don't want to risk the tickets being fake.
