Yeah, 'cause that's exactly the same thing. Hatton is a retired 140 lb fighter who hasn't fought since an ill-fated come back. Clottey was a big, strong 147 lber with some decent wins and performances under his belt, and looked good in his last fight at 154 - even if it was against Mundine

Now, tell me, how the **** would fighting Ricky Hatton be the same as Clottey? But hey, Canelo should just fight some no name cab driver, right?

Yeah he hasn't done jack crap in the past few years aside from being shut out by Pacquiao. His notable fights are his losses. Loss to Margs, Pacquiao, and Cotto. He did ok in the Cotto fight but like typical Clottey he did nothing in the championship rounds and Cotto walked away with the victory. Expect that same Joshua Clottey to show up to the Canelo fight

so canelo is still scared of kirkland? even this past prime and inactive version of kirkland? smh.

this past prime clottey will make for a good punching bag. at least with kirkland he would give it his all and actually has the power to pull off an upset.

shouldn't be happening Clottey hasn't done nothing in a long time, disappointed that Canelo wants to fight a guy that been out of the game for awhile now.

So since Team Canelo claimed Kirkland ducked him before is it safe to say now that Canelo ducked Kirkland? Lara gets Kirkland while Canelo fights who? Clottey? Lmao

clottey has sneaky power and is pretty good offensively once he gets out of his turtle shell.

Yeah, people should learn at this point. Clottey is who he is, and who he is will end up shelling up while Alvarez pounds away.
