That's what I saw ... Kovalev wasn't having any of that in-your-face BS and he's letting B-Hop know it right from the start. B-Hop will need to work overtime to get under Kovalev's skin.

IMO-Hopkins looked like he wanted to see how Kovalev responds when someone is up close to him-which he will use in the ring.

Kovalev looks shy and uncomfortable in the spotlight-I just wonder how that will translate to his performance on fight night.

Hopkins is a HUGE step up from the Agnews, Caparellos and even the Campillos and Sillahks....

I can see Bernard ruining this guys career, or Kovalev ending it early if Bernard builds up too much confidence in the ring.

IMO-this is what Bernard wanted to know-if KOvalev feels uncomfortable when someone is close to him....

I wanna see how Sergey deals with inside fighting with those long arms. He seems to need that extension on his arms like Pavlik did-Hopkins will probably switch range from outside to inside....gonna be very interesting.

I'm not half as interested in Floyd or Pac's fights compared to this one.

Neither of them looks scared. They put their hands on each other and just gently distanced themselves. If they were nervous or scared it probably would have turned into a brawl as soon as the hands came up.

Hopkins is ****in 50! He's up against one of the best punchers ever. I'm not talking about a limited slow ass Pavlik. This guy is going to ruin him, it will be hard to watch.
