Broner has a soft opponent, while Matthysse will fight someone much stronger

On Saturday, Adrien Broner has a soft opponent in Taylor (18-2), while Lucas Matthysse will be in with a much tougher, undefeated fighter Ortiz (31-0-1).

Ortiz has twice as many KOs as Taylor (24 to 12).

Does this mean Golden Boy and Haymon have more faith in Matthysse than in Broner?

He appears to be sturdy, he's never been down. And he can punch. There's a real chance he'll stop Matthysse late or win a decision.

          Taylor isn't very good.

He was schooled by Algieri and knocked down by Mayfield (most people thought he received a gift decision over Mayfield).

Taylor is a good opponent. Unless people are still holding Broner to some standard he doesn't deserve, a top 10 JWW is nothing anyone should complain about.

Broner is similar to the great white hope. He is the big black hope once Floyd is gone. They gambled once and it broke, I don't expect anymore ******** for a while. The stabilisers are firmly back on.

Trying to soften Lucas up before Broner fight or Garcia rematch. Maybe Thurman.

So if you're undefeated and have more knockouts, that automatically means you're better?

Even if all your opponents were road sweepers?
