This fight is pretty simple but very exciting. Can hopkins take kovalevs power? Can kovalev take a guy that actually punches back and knows how to box? Those should be the two questions on the back of everyones minds.

Except Putyin and many other dictators/czars in their history. Historically, they haven't got any tradition in democracy, hence, sadly their leaders (dicatators, czars, the CPSU) ruled them and command them in all of their history. It's not their fault but if you already really want to make stereotypes and you look the things from historical viewpoint than, yes they sadly let other people to get in their heads. I'm not believe in stereotypes and I know that a big number of Russians isn't like that but if you really want to make stereotypes than use your history books and don't claim that every Russian is so self-conscious, and that they are mentally super strong while they have just different kind of dictators since their country formed.

And for the record I don't think that the fact, that Kovalev is Russian will influence that how much Hopkin will get in his head, or as I said maybe pre fight, but that's simply because he just barely speak and understand English whil Hopkins (I guess ) doesn't speak russian language.

it's kind of a sad state of affairs when this is the biggest fightt of th eyear. it's obviously a good fight, and one i didn't expect to happen, but it's not even the best fight that can be made in that division.


it's honeslty getting hard to remember the time when promotors would match their fighters together, and feuds between networks didn't keep fights from happening on their own.
