You know, you have to fight Manny to put him to sleep to begin with. With that said, it took Marquez, 4, FOUR, QUATRO fights to finally get that 1 punch he's been looking for over 36 rounds worth.
Jr. on the other hand has yet to taste the ferocity that Pac's opponents have all had to deal with or the will power that all of Jr's opponents lack.
I think Garcia who has fought Pacquiao twice has the right to describe what he's been thru already in preparing fighters against both opponents.
ya cant believe pac actually won the other 3 fights v marquez ???????

Folks it is only now, that real hardcore fans little by little realizes that pacquiao is very different from all pound for pound greats on any eras. "Pacquiao's style is no style" if that makes any sense, he's style isn't in the basic boxing dictionary, he is in the sense barbaric since he don't possess culturally developed and universally known basics of boxing which we general fans had embraced over the recorded history of this sport.

That is why until floyd fights him literally, and not just on fantasy or in theory-crafting craps BS from us fans, I would consider both of them the greatest fighters in our era. Floyd's the best on defense and Pacquiao's the best on offense. "They are equal" Until one of them lose to the other one, period!.

I'm sure Pacquiao is more difficult to train for, you have to be ready for awkward punches, with power and explosiveness, you have to be prepared to potentially take a beating but also hunt a guy down cuz he's in and out and side to side so fast...but at the end of the day if your not a bum like Rios you know that Manny is gonna come at you with a 1-2 all night long and if you take that away you put urself in the fight, and if you know that you also know that his aggression and leaping style means you can catch him if you're good enough.

Manny has been figured out on many occasions by the same guys that Floyd has fought, Floyd on the other hand has never been figured out, and if you think he has and it was easy doing so but your ass still got an L and you think different just cause you walked out of the ring alive then you don't know **** about boxing. When one of these fools actually figures out a way to BEAT Floyd then they can talk, but just cuz you came close doesn't cut it

Agreed! Pac might not be the best practitioner of sweet science, However, he's a damn fighter w/ huge balls. Its kinda like a gladiator. You can only beat pac thru KO. And unless Floyd found a solution to beat Pac realistically (which we all knows & accepted that he is not a KO artist), We will never see them fighting.

Pac has too much rapid lateral movement and unorthodox punching angles for trainers to prepare their fighters for.

Garcia says Pacquiao is more difficult, and says he's the second best fighter out there, at the same time. If he's more difficult, wouldn't that make him the best fighter out there?

funny because everyone including rios couldnt figure out pac's dumb 1-2 except for marquez and it took him how many times? who has floyd fought that has figure manny out on many occasions? and last but not least, funny because everyone failed to do that except for marquez and once again it took marquez how many times.
