He was right until he said Manny never challenge Floyd. Manny passed that already. He dont use the line: "I fight whoever my promoter wants" to avoid Floyd. Actually not long ago Manny was very critical of Floyd and his ducking. So, Lyle at least get that part straight.

WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38KOs) wants to fight his division rival, WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs), in 2015. After

And when did Pac say this? You guessed it, when they both have fights scheduled. Has Pac ever reached out to Mayweather, or does he just talk to the media?

If the Pacquiao vs Algieri fight is PPV, absolutely, I won't pay for it.

I liken the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight to the cure for baldness. If it ever is proven to be fact, it will headline all of the news around the world.

Whenever I see Lyle Fitzsimmons' name, I stop reading. The guy is just a huge complainer. Always got an axe to grind.

I would love to see Pac put his foot down and do that. But he'll go for the "if the fans want to see it, of course" which doesn't have as much power as calling him out in the in ring post fight interview with everybody watching.

Again, I repeat, "All eyes on Arum." The timing of all these comments, coincide with the timing of Arum's plea for a boycott of Mayweather vs. Maidana I (which looks ridiculous in hindsight: Algeri...really?). With Bob Arum, nothing is a coincidence. Arum has nothing for Manny after Algeri. Heed needs Mayweather worse than ever. He doesn't control Floyd, Cotto is a co-promoter/free agent, Oscar has Canelo and B-Hop, and Khan, Brook is with Hearns, and GGG is K2. The best of his stable is gone or in court. Manny, for now, is Top Rank Boxing.

I have rarely seen headline after headline on Boxing Scene with Floyd mentioning Pacquiao as often as I have seen the opposite happen these past few weeks.

It's straight from the Bob Arum playbook. I don't know why you feel the need to deny it.

Apologies, I didn't know Boxing Scene was the only boxing site on the internet. Show me when was the last time a boxer, and I don't mean a third or second tier fighter gave this fight a direct interview. Oh wait that's right, videos get posted elsewhere and this site turns that one video into 9 articles. Need proof? Take a look at the hopkins, kovalev articles. The only time i've seen this site break news is on open media days when anyone can show up...but again pardon me. Sorry I don't just spend my time on one site but a simple google search will suffice enough to make the point for us BOTH.
